Susan Pomeroy and Creating Web Success
About Creating Web Success
Hi, and welcome to Creating Web Success. I help small business owners, creative entrepreneurs and independent professionals develop web sites that grow their businesses, reach more people, and make more money—more easily.
Creating Web Success began in 1999, when I left my corporate cubicle behind, fled a career in academia, and began creating web sites for creative individuals and businesses.
It soon became clear that there was no point in creating a great site if its owner went broke. Or if a site couldn’t pull in enough traffic to survive. I gradually began to integrate my design work with SEO and web business guidance to help my clients’ sites succeed.
Now, I do more than just create web sites.
I specialize in planning, designing, and enhancing small business and creative web sites. I also offer my Page One SEO package, which helps any site attract the targeted traffic it needs and deserves in order to thrive. About Me
I got a severe case of the Internet bug while working on my doctorate at the University of California at Berkeley. Instead of doing research in a small Mexican village as planned, I ended up writing a pioneering Ph.D. dissertation on the geography of cyberspace.
I’ve designed large corporate sites, taught about cyberspace and web design at U.C. Berkeley, created internet interfaces for web-based financial analytics software, and helped dozens of small business owners—artists, therapists, management consultants, art galleries, shamans, lawyers, nonprofits, nutritionists, online magazines, writers, PR experts, yoga teachers—launch beautiful, hassle-free web sites that help their businesses grow.
I live in Richmond, California with my partner, and I am temporarily without feline companionship.
