I've been in business over 20 years. I see I mostly changed myself in the beginning. I think that's one of the wonderful advantages of being self-employed. Later I started changing my business when I read about the importance of working "on a business" instead of (over)working "in a business." I believe you ought to change something when you feel you aren't getting what you wanted out of your business. (Maybe Gordon Ramsey should think about this--he's not doing so well now, is he?)
